Mediation
Mediation is an efficient and cost effective form of dispute resolution in which an impartial third party mediator assists the parties in resolving their disputes and/or litigation. Mediated dispute resolution can help the parties achieve resolution while avoiding the expense and uncertain result of a civil trial or arbitration.
Arbitration
Murray Mediation Services will set up the pre-arbitration conference, issue any preliminary rulings, facilitate the exchange of documents and, if necessary, book and coordinate the venue. All decisions will be rendered in a timely manner.

Why Choose Us?
Ryan trained as a mediator and arbitrator as part of his LL.M. from Osgoode Hall Law School (2013) in Civil Litigation and Alternative Dispute Resolution. Ryan also holds a B.A. Honours from York University (2000) and an LL.B. from Osgoode Hall Law School (2003).
His previous experience includes working with a respected Toronto insurance defence firm and in the legal department of a major Canadian property and casualty insurance company.
Prior to entering the field of dispute resolution, Ryan worked as a lawyer for over 12 years representing both injured plaintiffs and insurance companies. Most recently, he was a partner at Oatley Vigmond Personal Injury Lawyers LLP.
Rates
Currently, we are booking half day mediations for online/virtual only. Full day mediations may be booked for in person or online/virtual. Please email support@murraymediationservices.com for the most current fee schedule.

Frequently Asked Questions
As of October 1st, 2020, Ryan is no longer booking new roster rate mediations.
If you saw Ryan’s name still on the provincial roster list, we apologize for the confusion. The MAG has been unable to remove Ryan’s name even though we have been repeatedly requesting since September of 2020.
Mediation materials may be sent by email. Large attachments can be sent using www.dropbox.com or similar service. A paper copy of the brief is not required.
Please make every reasonable effort to provide your Mediation Brief or Statement of Issues at least seven days before the Mediation date.
Our cancellation policy can be found with the fee schedule, which is forwarded with our booking confirmation email.
No cancellation fees are payable if notice of cancellation is provided to us by email at least 45 days prior to the mediation date.
